There is no real fate for an illusory self

In speaking about fate, can we contemplate whose fate are we talking about?
Fate is on behalf of someone, on behalf of a separate person. The belief is that there is a personal self which exists in time and space.
Contemplation and inquiry reveal that there is no separate entity which exists in time, and that past and future are conceptual.
When it comes to reality, there is no such thing as fate.

Fate belongs to the illusory personal self. The fate of an illusory self is illusory.

There is no real fate for an illusory self.
