Psychological suffering is unpleasant and is the result of believing yourself to be a separate person.
Why is this happening to me? (me = a separate person)
Why does he/she not love me? (me = a separate person)
How come they do not understand me? (me = a separate person)

Psychological suffering is a form of resistance and seeking based on the belief that I am a separate person. It is unpleasant.

This is quite different from the unpleasant experience of living in a noisy neighborhood. It is unpleasant to be awakened at night by constant loud noises.
It is unplesant to be in a relationship with parents who are disrespectful and/or violent.

These two types of unplesantness are approached in different ways.
The psychological aspect requires your inquiry into your true nature as pure consciousness.
The non-psychological aspect requires a practical solution based on clarity and available options.
