We should examine the notion that my thoughts appear inside my head and your thoughts inside your head.
Upon taking a closer look, we may realize that our thoughts appear in a wide-open field of awareness and not inside our head, skull, or brain.
All thoughts appear in the same space of awareness.
When you ask yourself the question, ‘Can I distinguish awareness from the universe?’ You may conclude that you cannot distinguish awareness from the universe; you cannot experientially separate awareness from the cosmos.
The separation is not experiential; it is conceptual.
The separation is not experiential; it is conceptual.
This understanding leads you to the possibility that it is the cosmos and awareness that jointly create and perceive myriad forms.
It is not a personal consciousness doing the perceiving. It’s the entire cosmic realm that creates and perceives.
The cosmos as a whole is thinking.
