At times, our conditioned reaction veils our innate freedom
When faced with an unexpected rejection for example, we may react with ‘The hell with them’ or ‘They do not know my real value’ rather than noticing what is going on internally.
In doing so, we are not connecting with our emotion. We are not turning our attention to how we feel in our chest, in our breath, in our nervous system. We are overlooking that aspect of our inner experience and we are in conditioned reaction mode.
We need to develop the skill of connecting with our feelings, with our body, how it is appearing emotionally and how are we approaching this emotion? How are we responding? What are we noticing?
Are we fully present internally with both our mind and body?
Are we fully present internally with both our mind and body?
Our feelings, meaning how our body is appearing need to also come into the light of awareness and we need to notice the inner mechanisms of avoidance, blame, anger, rage, etc. and what lie beneath.
