KeymasterDear Magdi,
Please speak about Awakening, what it really means. From the time of the Buddha, it seems to have become a goal for a seeker, despite being told ‘You are already awakened’ or ‘there is no one to awaken’… Please also elaborate on how does an awakened one live in today’s world, juggling various needs and situations.Thank you.

GuestDear Ganesh,
Awakening means the end of the illusion of separation. The end of the belief and feeling of separation. It is the goal of the seeker, and it is in the death of the seeker that the goal is achieved.
Although identification with the limited body mind is no longer on board, life goes on. Meaning, the involvement in the waking dream continues, until it no longer does. From the outside, the engagement of the body mind before and after awakening seems to be the same, except that we may notice that the sage is rarely truly disturbed and seems to be overall happy. From the inside, order is restored. The me-mechanism is no longer engaged. The sage responds with responsibility, grace, harmony and love to the situations which present themselves. Sometimes this love is difficult to discern from the outside. While previously, the mind would frequently present various obstacles from the past, the sage’s mind is clear and fully present to the situation.
The universe participates with the sage in mysterious ways.
Love,
Magdi -
