Sat-Chit-Ananda Nama-Rupa

Sat-Chit-Ananda-Nama/Rupa is a gem that sums up the core teaching.

Sat refers to reality or being. Not being someone but pure beingness.
In other words, there is something rather than nothing. No matter what that something is, there is something. Meaning a reality of sorts. Something undeniable.
Sat is often referred to as “presence” or Amness and is summed up as Amness or “I Am.”

Chit refers to knowingness, awareness. This knowingness has two wings:

1. I know that I am, meaning self-knowingness, which can be referred to as the internal aspect, and
2. I know that I perceive the world, body, and mind, which can be referred to, for the sake of conversation, as the external aspect.

In other words, presence is self-aware as well as aware of its creation.
