KeymasterDear Magdi,
Can you speak about judgment? We spend a lot of time and energy judging oursevles, others, things, circumstances and more.
I heard you say that judgments are ‘Impersonal thoughts channeled through the belief in separation’.
Can you explain?Thanks

GuestDear friend,
In order to judge another, we need to separate ourselves from them. This applies as well to self judgment. Such separation requires effort and is fictitious, unhappy and unnecessary.
Given there is no personal self, judgments do not belong to us as a person. They are neutral thoughts which arise from the source, from consciousness. They become judgments upon getting infected by ignorance, by the belief in separation. Ignorance is the belief in a separate limited self and a separate limited others endowed with a personal will. This belief leads to judgment and condemnation.
The deep inquiry into the belief in separation is the cure.Love,

KeymasterDear Magdi,
You touched on something key – “They are neutral thoughts which arise from the source, from consciousness. They become judgments upon getting infected by ignorance, by the belief in separation.” Am trying to relate this to experience. When being anchored in presence so to speak, i.e. when not seeing through the lens of separation, objects or people appear neutral, where there is no question or need for judgment. The same object or person seens from the point of ‘me’ automatically leads to thoughts of comparison and judgment. Is this what you mean? Please clarify.May 30, 2025 at 3:26 pm #8909Magdi
GuestDear Ganesh,
Yes, this is what I mean.
When perceiving is not channeled through the belief and sense of separation, all is the Self, all is consciousness, all is love. There are no separate others or things.Love,
